Waterways Music Services is a sole-proprietor agency that began in San Diego, California and is now based in West Lafayette, Indiana.

The company was started by Wisconsin native, Rebecca Colby who is a board-certified music therapist.

Ms. Colby received her master of art degree and equivalency degree in music therapy from the University of Iowa and her bachelor of music degree in flute performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

She has been teaching flute lessons since 1995 and has been practicing music therapy since 2003, working with several populations including children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism, individuals with physical disabilities, hospice patients, people with behavior challenges, individuals with traumatic brain injury, children and parents in early education music & me classes, older adult groups and individuals with psychological disorders.

Ms. Colby received her neurological music therapy credential in 2007. She resides in West Lafayette, IN with her husband, David, and one year old son, Andrew.

Ms.Colby received the Anne Emery Kyllo continuing education award from the American Music Therapy Association in 2006.
